WHAT'S YOUR STORY?
My story, Your story, this a topic most of us would always want to discuss regardless of how painful or sweet the experience is, we just want to let them out intentionally or unintentionally, let the whole world what and what we've been through and how we survived them.
We all have stories to tell, which relates to reasons why we are the way we are, why we do the things we do, why we relate the way we do, why we act and react the way we do, even why we think the way we do.
Some of us at some points have gone through delays, well, I have too, especially when it comes to admission into higher institution in Nigeria, I'm sure some of us can relate, but my stance remains that delay isn't denial and every lost year will be recovered. Some of us carry the burdens of our bad pasts, and it begins to affect our present, but listen, your past is your past and it doesn't define you. For you to refer to something as your past, then you must have been done with it, so I believe you're a better person now, so don't let that so called *ugly past" dent the beautiful future you can have.
You see that story of your past? Is a testimony for the future, it's gonna help you see just how much beautiful life can be when you get a new one. Sometimes,it's not even your past, but what you're still going through, here's the good news, you're breaking free, you're gaining wings and you're flying high, it's changing for the better and your life is getting more beautiful.
I want you to get this, your past doesn't define you, it has no power over you, it has no hold against you, your situation doesn't determine your eventual, it won't shape your eventual outcome, but that's if you don't allow it......so tell me,what's your story?
Honestly, The Past can Hurt but what makes us human is the power we have over it.
ReplyDeleteWe either choose to learn from it, run from it or make it haunt us down.
